Picture Perfect ~ "Safe"

Hi Guys!

The theme for this week's Picture Perfect, hosted by Cherie, is

"SAFE"

Your arms are my refuge, my own little cave
They shield and protect me and make me feel brave.

When my ex and I split up two years ago, I had to make a decision about whether to bring my cats with me, or leave them with him. I chose the latter, for various reasons ~ the above picture being one of them.

The cat in the photo is Khattman, one of the sweetest, feistiest, personalityfied cats in the world! He and my ex had an especially close relationship, and it would have been cruel to split them up, too. Khattman stuck to him like glue ~ he was more like a little dog with its master than a cat!
I know I did the right thing, as much as I miss both him and my other cat, Chloe.
Despite the problems me and my ex had, I know without doubt that my babies are "Safe" with him.

I'm including this video by Simon & Garfunkel because it's so appropriate for all our photographic memories ~

In knowing you know they are safe is what matters most or else they would be with you and be safe as well. Would have rather seen you sleeping with them, but then again, I'm a dreamer LOL ... nice take on the theme.
