I've shamelessly 'stolen' this link from Will, a friend of Shane's on 360. For as long as I can remember, science and religion have been locking horns ~ 'evolution vs. creationism.' etc. This letter, written last month by the Rev. John H. Thomas, General Minister and President of the United Church of Christ, shows a refreshing view of how the two can exist side by side. Good for the Reverend! I bet he'll get some stick for it, and I admire his sense. It's well worth reading, regardless of personal faith or otherwise. :)
