Mousie's Page ~ welcome!
I do tend to ramble on about my man hermit *flirt!* If you can put up with that, feel free to wander round at will... :)
"Take my hand I give it to you, Now you own me, all I am... You said you would never leave me, I believe you, I believe. I can feel you all around me, thickening the air I'm breathing... Holding on to what I'm feeling, Savouring this heart that's healed."

ReviewReviewReviewReviewReviewPhotography For Grownups ~ "Ordinary"Jun 30, '08 11:46 AM
for everyone
Category:Other
It's week 2 of Guy's new photography site, Photography For Grownups, and this week we've been given the theme "Ordinary".

This is a photo taken about a million years ago, of my Gran (on the left), and her sister, 'Aunty Nell'. :) Every Sunday it was ordinary to have a 'high tea' in the afternoon ~ usually consisting of tinned salmon, sliced ham, salad, cheese, and a cake or trifle or icecream and jelly to round it off. I loved these teas ~ especially at Aunty Nell's. She always sneaked us extra icecream when mum wasn't looking. :)

Please follow this link to PFG, and join in if you feel like. :)

That really brings back memories. My aunt used to made jelly with fruit in it and topped with custard in small wax forms for us kids. And the tinned salmon I haven't had for years. That was really a treat. That sponge looks quite tasty too.

I LOVE this photo. I love the feel of it. How special to have these memories and to be able to look at the pictures and bring back those special times. You might enjoy checking my blog about the Germans that came before me. How old is your gran in the picture?

Sue.........what a doll you are. A very special package was waiting for me today when I collected my mail at the post office!!! HUGS What fun yarn. Will give it some thought; but think it's probably best suited for some hats or scarfs. I will keep you posted.

I enjoyed your cute card too!

HUGS and many many thanks
Sandy
